You've been asked to create a monument for someone in history that lived during the Civil War time period. (Reconstruction Era) First you have to pick who it will be for: What qualities would you look for in the in the selection process? Write a paragraph to the selection committe about why you think this person should have a monument built in his/her honor. Then create a drawing of your monumnet.
